 Cala was a graduate of Blaine Hair School in 1987. She continued her education with Clairol Colorworks and assisted Clairol Color Platform artist Shirley Sarpi.She worked in Topsfield for her first 2 years and then came to Beverly to open her salon in 1989. Her first location was 232 Cabot St and after celebrating 15 years there she moved to 309 Rantoul St and dropped the word "Family" from the name of the salon.

In 2005 Cala went to NY and was certified with cutting and coloring under the Curlaboration Curly Hair Cutting, created by Lorraine Massey.
Author of the book "Curly Girl". 
Cala is also trained with the Nu Free hair removal system.
Cala  encourages her staff to attend 2 shows a year and she has "in salon" training as well. Cala and her staff are well known as "Curly Hair Specialists on the naturallycurly.com website.

Erin 
HOURS: Off Sunday thru Tuesday
  
Erin was a graduate of North Shore Tech in Middleton in the year 2000. She has been with Cala Renee Salon from the beginning of her career. In between her 7 years with Cala  she took a little time off and had 2 girls.
 
Erin has been trained in Lorraine Massey's Curly Hair Cutting. Erin has also continued her education with
 "Foil Works" , (which is advanced Foiling Techniques) Nu Free hair removal system and the All Nutrient organic color system.

Erin is our salon manager and keeps things wrapped up when Cala is on vacation.

Adreena
On MATERNITY LEAVE
with
Jayda Marie, till mid December
was a graduate of North Shore Tech in 2006.
She had attended Fitchberg State College majoring in business and has transfered to Salem State College for the winter semester.

We are happy to have her back on our  team.
Adreena is trained in hair removal, manicuring, updo styling and blow outs. She is training now for color and cutting and hopes to be on the floor soon.

If you are fortunate to be in the salon whe Adreena is on, Mondays and Tuesdays, you can not help but feell her ray of sunshine.

Sarah  
is a graduated from Blaine Hairschool in Malden.

Sarah has been trained with our new Organic "no wax" treatment of hair removal,
Nu Free.  
Sarah is going through our training program quickly and is starting to utilize her cosmetologist license.
She has training now in hair removal and manicuring.
It is great to have a fun out going  member on our team! 
(I hear she is top rank now for head massages, you be the judge:) )
 

Carmen
 is a graduated of Blaine Hair School in Malden. She has a cosmetologist license along with training in esthetician work.
She is working as an assistant now and will be going through our training program next year. When you head to the sinks you are in for a great head massage.

Brittany
Brittany is a senior at North Reading High School and is working for us at the front desk on Saturdays. Some of you may remember her in her crib at the salon about 17 years ago:)

Brittany is looking to go to Endicott College in the fall of 09 to major in nursing.


Stephanie
 Graduated May 08 from North Shore Tech, and now is a cosmetologist.
She is attending Dartmouth College to earn her business degree.
Steph has been trained in our organic hair removal system, Nu Free.

If you are lucky you will see Steph here during the holidays filling in as an assistant.
