Cala was a graduate of Blaine Hair School in 1987. She continued her education with Clairol Colorworks and assisted Clairol Color Platform artist Shirley Sarpi.She worked in Topsfield for her first 2 years and then came to Beverly to open her salon in 1989. Her first location was 232 Cabot St and after celebrating 15 years there she moved to 309 Rantoul St and dropped the word "Family" from the name of the salon.
In 2005 Cala went to NY and was certified with cutting and pentura coloring under the Curlaboration Curly Hair Cutting, created by Lorraine Massey.
Author of the book "Curly Girl".
Cala is also trained with the All Nutrient ORGANIC Color System and Nu Free hair removal system.
Cala encourages her staff to attend 2 shows a year and she has "in salon" training as well. Cala and her staff are well known as "Curly Hair Specialists" on the naturallycurly.com website.

Erin Stylist/Manager

Erin was a graduate of North Shore Tech in Middleton in the year 2000. She has been with Cala Renee Salon from the beginning of her career first as an assistant in 1998 then she graduated to a stylist once getting out of highschool.
In 2006 Erin was trained in Lorraine Massey's Curly Hair Cutting. Erin has also continued her education with
"Foil Works" , (which is advanced Foiling Techniques) Nu Free hair removal system and the All Nutrient organic color system.
Erin is our salon manager and keeps things in shape.
Sarah Stylist

Sarah is a graduate from Blaine Hair School in Malden and is a Certified Hair colorist with All Nutrient Hair color(All organic) along with the highlighting technique Pentura.
In 2010 Sarah was trained by Lorraine Massey’s Curly Girl method of cutting and styling which makes her a specialist in the curly hair world.

Nikki is a graduate of New England Hair Academy and we are excited to have her as our newest stylist.
Nikki is a great addition to our fun loving team of stylists, with her sweet personality and quickness to learn she is bound to have truck loads of clients banging down our door for her. Nikki has become a great leader in a very short time and is growing her clientele of men and woman now. She will be trained in 2013 for Deva cutting.

Steph
Assistant's Manager
Steph is a graduate of NorthShore Tech HS and is a student at North Shore Community college seeking a degree in occupational therapy. She has been with the salon since she was 16 years old. Steph has become our Assistant's manager due to her strong work ethic and her leadership skills. We are glad to have her still with us as she works towards her dream career.
Jamie
Assistant
Jaimie graduated from the Northshore community college in 2009 with a cosmetology degree. She has been at the salon since January 2013 and we look forward to her staying with our team for years to come.
Ashley
Assistant
Ashley is the newest member to our team. She is a student at Peabody High School and will graduate from thier cosmetology certification in 2014. We are excited to have a young creative mind in our salon to bring freshness.
